Our Alaskan Salmon is harvested from a specific area, North Atlantic / FAO 27. This area is a designated fishing zone because of the abundance of Salmon and the relatively low disturbance by humans. We do have farmed Salmon, but they are raised in a tightly monitored environment to avoid disease or environmental contamination.

Many parts of the Salmon are harvested and processed; bellies, heads and backbones. Salmon bellies are known for their unique flavor and extremely high omega-3 fatty acid content.  Fish heads are prized for making soups.  Even the Alaskan Salmon backbone meat can be roasted for an extra delicacy.
